It's a Delta fan but if you've seen some of our other reviews of heatsinks that used Delta fans you'll immediately notice that the waveform is not quite as large as you expect it to be. This particular fan is a bit quieter running than other Delta fans we have looked at and consequently, runs a bit slower, but still provides some good cooling.

So, initially we were thinking that this relatively unknown manufacturer might not place to high in our list of reference coolers, but it did manage some respectable ranking. The CC-DTA-66 was equally capable on both the large interface die, and on the small interface die and proves itself as a good overall cooler. There are at least a handful of companies offering basically the same design on the market so that is a testament to it really.

Let's jump ahead and look at the rise above ambient temperatures now.
