Some static seems to have gotten into this recording of the NP60D in operation so that is why there are the large marks in the waveform view, and the single line in the spectral image. This should hopefully not be too noticeable in the MP3 recording, which you can download by clicking on the headphones. After all we're the only one's who let you listen to this heatsink!

If this were a serious competition I would be taking my bets off the Bitspower NP60D attaining any desireable level of cooling performance. By the looks of these numbers, the NP60D appears to be struggling to find a place in the current world of small silicon die processors that produce substantial amounts of heat.

Rather, it would seem that the NP60D is a holdover from the days of the socket 370 Celeron... the 366 MHz Celeron that is.
