Bitspower NP60D Heatsink From All Angles
The Fan:
The moderately powerful 20mm thick fan doesn't really need a fan grill so we won't harp on that. The fan sits 4mm above the tips of the fins and attaches directly to the fan shroud. The draws its power from the motherboard fan header and supports RPM monitoring.

Heatsink Top:
Skive heatsinks always seem to look so nice :-) There are a total of 32 sets of fins on the NP60D. Each fin section is about 25mm wide, and 19mm tall. The clip exudes pressure at a point and sits in a cut away section measuring 8mm in width.

Side A:
See what we meant about being dropped? The offset fan shroud is there to surround and protect the relatively fragile skived sections of aluminum. The fins are about 0.4mm in thickness and stagger 1mm apart from one another. The base is 7mm thick.

Side B:
The clip is not too tight and easy to work with just your fingers which is always nice to see. The fan shroud actually screws into the base, keeping it from coming loose.

Heatsink Base:
I don't really need to say that the base is finely polished to a mirror finish because you can plainly see our trusty old Sony Mavica in the reflection. The undercut section is pretty rough, but after checking with the engineers straight edge we can see the base on the NP60D is almost perfectly flat. Good to see from a not so well known manufacturer.
