True enough, the 46-fin packing skive technology Dominator 2 is just slightly above the original Dominator (which was tested with a 38mm Delta fan). Despite the differences in fan size, the Dominator 2 and its extra fins have managed to improve the level of performance almost across the board.

Performance on the large interface die was drastically lower, but as most of us are only concerned with how the heatsink reacts to the small interface die this isn't much of a big deal. All in all a very good performance cooler, and at a relatively low price of about $15 - definitely worth the price.
