FrostyTech Mk.II Synthetic Thermal Heatsink Test Results AMD Phenom II, Athlon II/64/FX/X2, Sempron class heatsinks Results based on readings from a 38x38mm copper interface die with 125W heat load on the K8 version of the Mk.II Test Platform. with a 125w heat load applied by the amd k8 version of the frostytech synthetic thermal test platform, the Zalman CNPS5X-SZ heatsink is able to maintain a good temperature result of 19.1°C over ambient (54.8 dBA noise) at full fan speed. After reducing the 90mm PWM fan from 2800RPM to 1400RPM, CPU test die temperatures increase to an average 26.1°C over ambient.

So far the test results are good-to-average, we'll hold off on our final comments until the Intel LGA775/1156 synthetic thermal test platform results are in. That's next on FrostyTech....
