with a 125w heat load applied by the frostytech amd k8 synthetic thermal test platform, the thermaltake contac 29 heatsink yields a rise above ambient temperature of 14.4°c at full fan speed (48.2dba noise). as we decrease fan speed towards 800rpm, the contac 29 maintains a nice temperature result of 22.4°c over ambient. noise output falls to whisper quiet 30.1 dba.
