The 120mm PWM fan on the Ibuypower IBP-Z001 heat exchanger spins at 2500RPM by default. The computer system BIOS can drop that down for quieter operation to 800RPM. A 4-pin PWM motherboard header provides power. The radiator uses 1/2" barbs and is keyed for a 120mm fan on one side, and to attach to the rear of a computer case through 120mm fan holes (screws are provided). The effective area of the heat exchanger is 105x105mm. Overall radiator dimensions are 147x120x35mm.
The waterblock/pump unit of the Ibuypower IBP-Z001 system can be placed about 4" away from the heat exchanger. The total length of the Norprene tubing is 230mm.
From the top you can see that Ibuypower's IBP-Z001 self-contained liquid cooling system is quite compact. Two 4-pin PWM power connectors are all that is required to run the system.

No data is available on the integrated pump for the Ibuypower IBP-Z001 waterblock. A 4-pin PWM motherboard header provides power and allows the system to adjust speed. Generally speaking, it's wise to leave pump speed at the default setting and vary fan speed instead. The body of the pump/waterblock is made from glass fiber reinforced plastic (just a like a fan), and fully sealed. There are no visible means to open the waterblock for inspection or cleaning
Note the use of stainless steel crimp clamps around the Norprene tubing. The Norprene tubes have a total length of 230mm and are 1/2" ID, 5/8" OD. The tubing is very flexible and fairly kink resistant. You can get a good radius of bend in the tubes without much concern for the tubing kinking. The entire waterblock is less than 17mm thick, 45mm tall including the motor.
The copper base of the waterblock ships with a pre-applied patch of thermal paste. The effective copper area that mates with the processor is 43mm in diameter. The four screw holes around the outside of the copper with the metal thread inserts are for the CPU socket mounting hardware.

Base Finish and Flatness

Flipping a heatsink over to inspect the business end is often a simple indicator of overall cooler quality. More practically speaking, a heatsink is in many ways only as effective as the contact it makes with the processor - the flatter and smoother the better. Base finish is one of the criteria that Frostytech measure in the course of evaluating heatsinks, and it involves two distinct aspects. Surface Finish is the first; this is calculated with the aid of Surface Roughness Comparator that has a cross section of common machine surface finishes and their numerical surface roughness equivalents in microinches. The second is Surface Flatness. This is tested with an engineers straight edge, in two axis.

The copper waterblock on the Ibuypower IBP-Z001 system has a machined base with a surface roughness of approximately ~64 microinches. The manufacturer has purposefully given the surface a very fine ridged texture. The base is generally flat in both axis.
