Information on Frostytech's test methodology is available here.
The Heatsink Fan:
The Antazone AS-C1000 heatsink is built to work with a 92x92x25mm fan that spins in the region of 2200RPM. Mounting holes are 80mm on center. A wire fan grill would have been a nice touch, but none is provided. The plastic fan shroud supports the fan on the cooling portion of the heatsink, and leaves a good 10mm of space around the entire cylinder formed by the many individual copper fins.... which means the copper section could have been larger, or cooling fins could have extended beyond the current 76mm diameter. The heatsink draws power from a standard 3-pin motherboard fan header, and supports RPM monitoring.

Heatsink Top:
The top of the Antazone AS-C1000 heatsink is clear and clean. The 92mm fan attaches via four screws spaced 80mm apart. The outside of the copper cooling fins are flat and smooth, which doesn't quite make sense given that this area could have been put to use for additional cooling. The cooling fin section itself is about 59mm deep. Also note that the three heatpipes only wrap about halfway around each side of the copper cooling fin section.

Heatsink Rear:
From the back we get a good view of how that Antazone AS-C1000 heatsink is built. The three copper heatpipes wrap partially around a cylindrical section of copper 76mm in diameter, which is made up of many 23mm long individual copper fins. At the center of this, the edges of all these copper fins form a secondary 30mm diameter copper cylinder, but regrettably this is closed off at the opposite end by the fan motor which butts up flush against the edge of the copper fins! Each copper fins is 0.3mm thick, and spaced 1.5-3.0mm apart. A clear plastic fan shroud surrounds all of this by 10mm to prevent hot air from getting trapped in this space, but we're left wondering why the outside circumference of every fin is flat - this space would have been superb for stubby little cooling fins!

Heatsink Side A:
There are three grooves in the outside of the Antazone AS-C1000's circular copper cooling fine section. The three 6mm diameter copper heatpipes fit into these "tracks" and transfer the heat from the baseplate over a distance of about 150mm. The cooling fins are elevated 37 mm above the socket for clearance of adjacent devices, the whole heatsink stands 123mm high. The base is capped off with a 52mm wide copper block that provides rigidity and strength for the CPU clamping bracket. There is a small round hole in the top of this block to align the mounting bracket onto. There are a set of screw holes on the rear of the translucent plastic fan shroud for a secondary fan to be installed if desired. Extra screws are included, so it wouldn't be too hard to attach an 80mm fan here.

Heatsink Side B:
The three copper heatpipes don't quite wrap around the entire diameter of copper cooling fins, rather they just sort of cover about half the circumference. This probably leads to a situation where one half of the Antazone AS-C1000 is hotter than the other side since thermal loading is slightly unbalanced. Visible from this angle is how the copper base is comprised of two copper sections soldered together. The AS-C1000 measures 85mm from font to back, and stands 123mm tall.

Heatsink Base:
The copper-plated copper base measures 40mm by 40mm, and is 10mm thick, with 5mm of that directly below the three 6mm diameter copper heatpipes. The different parts of the base are soldered together, and the entire heatsink copper plated for optimal thermal transfer. The copper is machined flat, and very smooth. The discoloration you see in the image here is from the sticker that Antazone apply to the surface to protect it from scratches before installation. Surface roughness is on the order of ~4 microinches, which is considered excellent.
