There are plenty of small heatsink manufacturers attempting to make a names for themselves in this competitive industry, and Jetart is one of them. For our experiences testing Jetart heatsinks, the company has mainly been focusing on extruded aluminum coolers for the value and mainstream markets where price is always the major factor. FrostyTech visited the Jetart booth during Computex to view some of the companies newest heatsink prototypes and cooling solutions.

This Jetart prototype heatsink is fresh from the R&D lab....the aluminum heatsink is unique because each of its fins is cut from the solid block of extruded aluminum (the general star shape). By cutting out each fin in this way, an inner curved profile is created that helps to direct warmed exhaust air out towards the sides of the heatsink, at the base. Furthermore, the top of the heatsink is recessed to reduce the creation of hot spots below the fan motor.

This Jetart heatsink has the fan set at an angle to the base.

Jetart Aquacool watercooling system. The unit is a self contained system encompassing the reservoir, heat exchanger, pump and control electronics. The Jetart Aquacool is intended to rest on top of the PC chassis with tubing running through an open PCI slot to the CPU waterblock.

The Aquacool waterblock is very simple; a copper plate with several holes dimpled into its surface add to the fluid turbulence. The compression fittings are made from a "high strength" plastic, but there is still the potential for something to crack...
