To further emphasize FrostyTech's reliance on cold hard facts when evaluating a heatsink, we also take Decibel readings with a sound level meter. These results may be higher than the manufacturer's listed specs, but then again these are real world measurements. Measurements are taken in dB, under the A scale.

Fan noise was measured at 54.7 dB, but it seems a little quieter than that in real life. In any case, the fan should really stand out in most computer systems, but will add to the general tone of white noise eminating from the enclosure.
