The
initial results are pointing the fact that this heatsink is a middle of the road
cooler. It looks as though we will be seeing decent performance
in this configuration, but nothing on the scale of the other performance
heatsinks in this list of reference heatsinks. For comparisons sake, the Coolink U2P, a heatsink which
is endowed with a very high RPM 38mm thick fan, is
performing just about 10 degrees better.

The results don't change much in the final rise above
ambient temperature results form. The Coolink U2L offers consumers pretty good
performance on an average scale. The only down sides to this heatsink are that it
is very large in size. With a base measuring 80x61mm there is a chance
that this heatsink may not fit on all types of Socket A or Socket
370 motherboards.
Overall, the Coolink U2L did manage to
exceed our expectations by several orders, but I suppose that is
in large part due to the use of an 80mm fan. The copper heatspreader
appears to be well attached to the base, and the higher than expected
thermal performance of this heatsink is a testament to
that.
XTwerkz.com were good enough to send over the Coolink U2L which retails for about $25.00USD . All in
all, the U2L is relatively affordable, and not too noisy.
