If you haven't noticed it, the Arkua 6158 falls sharply towards the rear of our list of reference coolers as a direct result of the fan. Since we know for a fact that the actual heatsink body is identical to the 6258, you can see what a large impact fan power can have on a heatsink. Now this isn't always the case with each and every heatsink, but the volume of air moving through a heatsink has always been significant factor in how it performs overall.

Given that we know for a fact the Arkua cooler can perform a heck of lot better in other configurations I would suggest avoiding this specific model and simply getting the 6258. The performance relative to that cooler is very poor, but over all it isn't tremendously horrible. There are plenty of OEM coolers out there which have done a lot worse with equally powerful 10mm thick fans.
