We were a bit surprised by the level of performance the Arkua 7228 was able to achieve over the TI-V77L, but given the similarities in their construction it does make sense.

With its' additional height and copper core the 7228 performs exceptionally well on the small interface die, and even on the large interface die.

Again it is important to recall that because of where the exhaust air is being directed to, heatsinks based on the Thermosonic design are always really good performers. In the case of the Arkua 7228, it manages to rise to the top of our list of reference coolers!
