Loud fans equal good performance so what are you really going to do? Quiet fans offer less performance and that can mean overheated processors to the performance user. This noisy fan sounds like your typical 60mm Delta, but if you want to see for yourself then click away on the ol' pair of headphones. If you really want to annoy someone next to you, turn that volume up really loud and loop the sample continuously!

Copper kills heat when you have the engineer abilities to build a decent heatsink. In this case the Coolermaster sneaks up right behind the Thermal Integration TI-V77L and comes close to taking the number on position in this list of reference coolers. The only similar heatsink, the Fortis A92 (only half copper) sits way below at the bottom of the list suffering from a poor thermal interface between the fins and the base.

Looks like CoolerMaster have a real winner with the HCC-002, but before we commit to that let's take a peek at the rise above ambient results.
