The Thermalright SK6 entered our testing rig with the expectation that it would perform quite well, but not out perform the CAK38. To our great surprise the SK6 not only performed above our expectations, but also pushed the Globalwin CAK38 out of the first position in our list of reference coolers.

For such a small heatsink the SK6 performs really well, and as it goes for about $50USD it would be a good cooler to consider for performance systems. The only thing that didn't impress us was the surface finish on the base. While the base was machined to very flat tolerances, the smoothness leaves a lot to be desired. Were Thermalright to smooth and polish the base of the SK6, the results would surely be even better. All around though, a very good copper cooler!
