with a 125w heat load applied by the amd version of the frostytech synthetic thermal test platform, the phanteks ph-tc14pe (red) heatsink yields an excellent rise above ambient temperature at full fan speed of 11.3°c over ambient with 49.2 dba noise. with both 140mm slowed to 900rpm, the ph-tc14pe heatsink holds test temperatures at an equally low 12.7°c over ambient (41.7dba noise).
