with a 125w heat load applied by the amd k8 version of the frostytech synthetic thermal test platform, the Coolermaster Hyper 212 Plus heatsink is able to maintain an excellent temperature at stock fan speed of just 14.4°C over ambient (50.1 dBA noise). With the fan speed decreased to 600RPM, the Hyper 212 Plus maintains a good temperature of 23.0°C over ambient, this time with 35.3dBA noise.
