with a 125w heat load applied by the amd k8 version of the frostytech synthetic thermal test platform, the Thermaltake ISGC-200 heatsink yields an average result at stock fan speed of 23.9°C over ambient (48.7 dBA noise). With the fan speed dialed down to a fixed 600RPM, the Thermaltake ISGC-200 maintains an unsatisfactory 52.0°C over ambient, this time with 27.3dBA noise. Clearly, this is not a heatsink to run at its slowest fan setting.
