with a 125w heat load applied by the amd k8 version of the frostytech synthetic thermal test platform, the coolermaster hyper 212 maintains a low 17.2°c rise over ambient temperature (with 45.9 dba noise). the hyper 212 performs very well indeed on the amd k8 platform, let's see how this heatsink handles the Intel LGA775 synthetic thermal test platform next.
