As a 1U heatsink, the results for the Cooljag E44C/180 do not represent the apex of this class of heatsink. When compared to past Frostytech reviews of 1U Pentium 4 heatsinks, the results for the Cooljag E44C/180 are towards the lower-middle of the group. It's thermal performance is satisfactory, but could perhaps benefit from some design optimization to get the most from its skived copper fins. Bottom line, there are better 1U Socket 478 thermal solutions out there, and even a few from Cooljag to choose from.
