The Evercool
CUF715 is a moderate sized copper socket A heatsink by today's standards, and its thermal
performance is equally expect. There is nothing out the ordinary here folks. Let's have
a look at where temperatures stand in the final rise above ambient results table

There
are a lot of other heatsinks which perform far worse than the Evercool
CUF715, and there are plenty that perform far better. The CUF715 is stuck dead
center in this list of reference heatsinks... it kind of makes you wonder what
would compel someone shopping for a new heatsink to choose this model.
While price may come into play in the store, it is hard to find pervasive
reasons to select the CUF715 when there are better performing heatsinks left and
right.
In any
case, performance of the Evercool CUF715 is good, and
if you have this heatsink in your computer there is no reason to worry. The
copper construction will net you dead-average results that will keep your PC running
smoothly.
