Listening to the actual noise a heatsink makes allows you to hear what pure numbers alone cannot get across. To further emphasize FrostyTech's reliance on cold hard facts when evaluating a heatsink, we also take Decibel readings with a sound level meter. The heatsink measures in at 46.7 dB which is nice and under the 50 dB point. The sound seems a little higher pitched than other heatsinks of the same size and may be more audible outside of the computer case than that of a 80mm or 92mm fan. Up next, thermal results...
