always been an easy solution to manufacturers looking to produce a competitive product.

In this set of reference heatsinks the Coolink U2P comes in under the performance
title, even though it misses the sub 40 degree Celsius mark by just a hair.
In all reality, the Coolink U2P would make a good heatsink for situations
where extra cooling is desired, and noise levels aren't a factor. Obviously, the
biggest downside is the fact that the large fan which gives this heatsink all
its power, is really noisy. If I was asked about noise levels a year ago I
don't think anyone would mind. These days, noise has worn out its welcome, and
quieter heatsinks are where most consumers seem to be gravitating.
XTwerkz.com retail this cooler for about $25.00USD
so that makes it pretty affordable all things considered. It might be worth
while though, to compare this heatsink with one engineered to use a more
efficient design, and not so much "fan" power to achieve cooling levels of
this order. Otherwise, not a bad heatsink at all.
