The initial results here kind of surprised us considering how the Igloo 2400 model which shares its fin design with the Igloo 3300 performed. It looks as though the Igloo 330 may offer up a slight advantage over the stock intel heatsink...let's look at the next graph and find out for sure.

From the results we can see here the Glacialtech Igloo 3300 offers about 1 degree advantage over the stock Intel heatsink which means these two coolers are just about equal - thermally. Acoustically, the stock intel heatsink offers much better results and with that in mind it is hard to find a reason to make the switch.

Unlike AMD stock coolers, the Intel solution is pretty good right out of the box, and unless the heatsink offers a larger increase in performance it is hard to justify the need to switch. Still, all things considered, the Igloo 3300 offers up pretty good m478 socket performance compared to our original expectations.
