Faced with
some very strong
high
performance competition the Ajigo MF014021 initially places towards the lower end of the
reference heatsinks. As was the case with the SF017011, there are not that many 60mm
heatsinks on this list of reference heatsinks so things should be kept in scale.
The performance level appears to be average, but we will have to see what the
rise above ambient results tell us first before we make our final conclusions.

Interestingly the Ajigo MF014021 manages to eke out
a small performance gain over the SF017011 model, even though it has
a slightly larger fan. The differences (of about 1 degree in our tests) could be
due to the base finish, or other factors. Realistically speaking, the separation is too
small to draw any real conclusions.
What we can say is that for its size, and for the size of
the fan used, the Ajigo MF014021 produces some rather impressive results. The
small, compact, copper-aluminum heatsink even manages to out-perform the all
copper Titan TTC-CU5TB heatsink on the small interface die at 100W.
Given what we have seen from these first two examples of
Ajigo heatsinks we would be very interested to see what the company could come
up with on an larger scale - perhaps even for the socket 478 pentium 4.
For the moment we will have to be content with this
heatsink, and its use on non-overclocked systems where noise levels and good
cooling are the priorities.
