To further emphasize FrostyTech's reliance on cold hard facts when evaluating a heatsink, we also take Decibel readings with a sound level meter. These results may be higher than the manufacturer's listed specs, but then again these are real world measurements.

With a real-world measured noise level of 47.9 dB the Taisol P4 heatsink is noticeably louder than the stock Intel heatsink but quieter than most of the other reference heatsinks we have tested.
