Almost but not quite would be the best way of describing the results we see here. The thermal integrations heatsink is still pretty potent and manages to keep the Arkua 628 heatsink at bay. The Arkua heatsink exhibited pretty good acoustic performance producing about 50dB of noise, while maintaining a very high standing among the reference heatsinks.

A lot of heatsinks slap on really noisy high powered fans in order to reach similar results so it is refreshing to see a heatsink where design and engineering are working so well together. The 628 would be a really good heatsink for any socket A AMD processors.

Canadians should now be able to get their hands on an Arkua heatsink since we have just learned that Lin Haw International Co. is distributing several of the models.
