"The ASUS OC Summit took place in Santa Clara last weekend and PC
Perspective went along for the ride. At the event we saw three teams of
three overclockers (Team OC Alliance, Team Pure and Team Xtreme Systems)
each compete in some head to head benchmarking battles that resulted in
quite a few new world records being created. ASUS was hosting the event as
a grass-roots effort to showcase the company's new Rampage III Extreme and
Maximus III Extreme motherboards (featuring the X58 and P55 chipset
respectively) and demonstrate the stability of the boards in highly
overclocked conditions."
