"Like a mortician who enjoys his job too much, I find myself grubbing around in the decomposing entrails of this much-debated subject. In fact, I really would rather be doing something else. Almost anything else. But here I am. ... ...We are all agreed on it being Open Source. Fine. But, this is mainly just a question of whether we give away our source code or not. When it comes to the actual licence, some of us are pro-GPL, and some of us are anti-GPL, and that's what's so awkward."
