Gaming accessories are becoming very popular. First gaming mice emerged, popular ones include the Razer Boomslang 2000 and a few other optical ones from Microsoft and Logitech. With all these high resolution tracking and sensitivity, the mouse is only as good as the surface that it's being used on. Matching a $99 mouse with a $5 mousepad isn't going to work very well, so we'll need something built for the gamer. Such a product reviewed is the fUnc sUrface 1030 from fUnc Industries.
Is tin packaging becoming a trend lately? First it was the Razer Boomslang that came in this killer packaging (I think it's still really awesome) and then now the fUnc 1030 comes in this packaging method too. Lift up the lid and you'll find the mousing surface with a simple instruction booklet (yes it's a manual all right) with a cable clip, which I will talk about later on in the review.
