We're all used to seeing the everyday, generic power supply, and when these ugly, gray boxes are paired up with modified cases, they really can be an eyesore. During the past couple years, we've seen manufacturers swerving away from the ordinary PSU in an attempt to catch the average modder's eye - some examples include coloured power supplies, fan speed controlled power supplies, and even power supplies with internal lighting schemes. Most of these changes weren't really that dramatic or sharply appealing. Sure, you could have a bit of extras, but you're still going to be looking at an ugly box through your window.
