Confused over the emergence of not one, but two new versions of the GeForce2 MX? Don't feel bad, so were we, and just about everyone else in the industry. NVIDIA already had a great budget card in the original MX card, so it seemed redundant to release two additional versions of the same card. Since I don't work at NVIDIA, I can only guess at the decision to build two new revisions of the popular GeForce2 MX; a very cheap OEM card (MX200), and a high-end budget card to combat the Kyro II (MX400). Again, this is only a guess on my part, but the situation reminds me of the various TNT2 variants we saw, including very cheap OEM Vanta.
