The new iBook comes chock full of features that you will ever need in a notebook. It easily puts some of those brand name Wintel notebook to shame. The iBook that was reviewed sports a PowerPC G3 running at a respectable 500MHz. It comes built-in with a single FireWire, 2 USB ports, a video out port, an AV connector, a 56K modem, a 10/100 Base-T Ethernet port and a 8X DVD ROM drive. It is also AirPort ready with a PC-Card slot built-in for an AirPort card as well. The antenna for the AirPort card is built into every iBook. Unfortunately it only has 64MB SDRAM although there are versions that comes standard with 128MB SDRAM.
