Athlon XP 1900+

It’s been a few weeks since the release of the new Athlon XP series, and already AMD has brought the first new speed grade upon us, the Athlon XP 1900+. It may be only a mere 67MHZ faster in true clock speed than the 1800+ (from 1.53GHz on the 1800+ to 1.60GHz for the 1900+), but as the new rating scheme denotes, it should perform as if it were 100MHz or so faster than other processors on the market. I won’t go into any depth about the features, since it is just a simple speed grade higher, so if you have not yet read our Athlon XP 1800+ review, then you might want to check it out.
