"I determined it would take ~450-500mb of hard drive space, differing
between users. Little more than Windows98, but not much. And (as I was
told), a lot less than Windows 2000. The difference in space will depend on
what components you install, such as wallpaper, screen savers, and desktop
themes. For most users, this is an area to save space on, since most
components are unneccessary."
