"We are on the quest for the illusive 1GHz mark so we have taken a look at what's available and have decided to go with an Intel PIII 800/100. Sure the 1GHz+ processors are out there but like I said, they are not quite affordable just yet. Money may be no object to some, but most of us hardware nuts work hard for a living so shelling out $500 to $1000 for a processor just isn't going to happen. The cost of a new high end processor, in my opinion, is the number one reason to purchase an affordable CPU and overclock the crap out of it."
