Back in the day (1999), Frostytech made our own heatsinks to test out different ideas and thermal designs. Gotta love the blurry retro-film photo...eh? This particular copper tube/fin heatsink was a failure because the swage joint between tube and aluminum plate was way too loose for a thermal joint. A fun exercise none the less.
