Many of you have written in asking about decent, low noise cooling solutions, and this is just such a heatsink. Thanks to a large, lower-RPM 80mm fan, the D5TB2A doesn't loose all cooling ability, and still manages to keep things quiet. The single ball bearing fan about as noisy as a power supply, but no where even near that of a 60mm Delta. As always, you can listen to this heatsink by clicking on the headphones to the right of the waveform images. The acoustic sample is about 10 seconds in length and is stored in MP3 format. Note the spike in the waveform image of the recording is the beep from the alarm before the fan begins to spin.

Considering the low level of sound that the D5TB2A produces while in operation we were pleasantly surprised to see it place so well - and so closely to other very noisy cooling solutions. Granted, the fan is 80mm, significantly larger than the 60mm Delta's but it is the end result that really matters.

However, given the placement of the Titan with regard to our list of reference coolers, it would seen that Titan have produced a very competent solution for the general user, and typical system.
