Cooljag JACE2DC/180 Heatsink From All Angles
The Fan:

The 60mm squirrel cage fan is attached to two steel posts which hold it flush against the fan shroud. There is no space between the base of the fan and the tips of the fins, and this is important since air is drawn into the fan through the copper skived fins, before being exhausted outwards. The fan connects via a 3-pin fan header on the motherboard and supports RPM monitoring.

Heatsink Top:

With the squirrel cage fan removed we can see that the copper heatsink is skived in two parts, and each section is 43mm wide. Each skived copper fin is 7mm tall.

Side A:
The copper base of the Cooljag JACE2DC/180 is 4mm thick, giving the cooler an overall height of 27mm. The fins are spaced 1mm apart and are 0.3mm thick. This is pretty standard for skived heatsinks.

Side B:
Cool air is drawn in through the copper fins and up into the body of the squirrel cage fan before being exhausted out.

Heatsink Base:

The base of the copper heatsink has been face milled nicely, and is pretty smooth. The copper is slightly concave in shape, but the curve is not steep enough to cause significant mounting problems.
