Arctic Cooling Super Silent 4 Pro Heatsink From All Angles
The Fan:
The under-hung fan used on the SS4Pro is a one-piece unit. Both the fan shroud and the fan are one unit, meaning there is no opportunity to replace the fan should it fail. Installation of the stiff clips is made somewhat easier by way of the four thumb holds.

Heatsink Top:
There are a total of 28 fins on this heatsink, all of which are uncut, and untextured.

Side A:
The fins are 1mm thick and spaced 1.1-1.6mm apart from base to top. The base of the SS4Pro is rather thick at 10mm. Each aluminum fin stands 31mm in height and is bent slightly towards the outside. It is easy to see how the fan is under-hung in this image as well.

Side B:
The clips are pretty stiff to engage on the HSRM, making the installation of this heatsink a little tougher than usual. The clips lock in, and lock in hard however. Small tabs at the tips of each clasp ensure that once installed, the Super Silent 4 Pro isn't going anywhere soon.

Heatsink Base:

The extruded aluminum base has been machined flat and is pretty smooth as well. A mirror surface is not always the best for heatsinks as it is believed the perfectly flat and smooth surface traps in thermal compound more readily. In this case, a small amount of thermal compound would be a good idea.
