There are quite a few heatsinks in the 61-63C range as we can see, so while the DW45 isn't exactly rising to the top, the temperature values are going to be mid-range for sure. Let's jump ahead and have a look at the final rise above ambient temperatures now.

Final rise above ambient temperatures are just over the 40 degree mark, and that puts this cooler squarely in the OEM cooling range. For its size and materials the performance isn't bad I suppose, but the stock Intel Socket 478 heatsink offers slightly better numbers.

The Eumax DW45 could be quite useful in height limited enclosures such at small 2U servers or desktop book-style PC's. With it's copper construction, and low height it could be worth considering for those applications, but for standard desktop systems the temperature and acoustic gain over Intel's stock offering just isn't quite there.
