How all that airflow is used is as important as how much airflow the two fans create. In the initial results phase, we are seeing that the external fins may not be the best way to go about cooling.

In the end, it is clear that the Titan MT1AB5 is a middle of the road OEM cooler and not the best choice for socket A/370 processors. The design is dated, but even among older heatsinks there were some better performing coolers to choose from. The two fan concept has definitely seen some advancement, and it is clear that Titan put more effort into improving the effectiveness of this heatsink, but a little more needs to be done to get the efficiency level up I think.
