Dynatron:
Dynatron meanwhile introduce one of the first few
AMD Opetron and Athlon K8 Model heatsinks onto the market. Dynatron have become very cozy with AMD as their skive heatsinks now ship in the retail packaging. I have seen a few other manufacturers introduce K8 heatsinks so this is not the first of its kind for us here at FrostyTech. What is interesting is that the heatsink places 75 pounds of force on the core of the processor. That sounds like a heck of a lot from today's standards.

Fanner Tech:
Fanner have also joined into the melie with their very own K8 heatsink, the Kestrel King I K8 cooler.

"Fanner Group, global supplier of cooling solutions for the personal and networked computer, with it's manufacturing facilities in Shen Zhen, China would like to announce the launch of it’s newest cooling solution for the upcoming AMD K8 Athlon and Opteron processors. The KestrelKing I™ model number 5E260B1H3 is the first cooler model for the new AMD Opteron and Athlon processors. The design of the 5E260B1H3 is based on AMD’s guideline, to ensure protection of the processor and other components. The original design based on aluminum extrusion with a 60 mm fan, is a high performance solution which utilizes a 5000 rpm fan pushing out 23.1 CFM of airflow."
