Cho-Liang CB00941A Pentium 4 Heatsink Review
The
search for the diamond in the rough of the cooling world sometime leas us to some new and previously unheard of heatsink manufacturers, like Cho-Liang. Among the various heatsinks Cho-Liang manufacture is the CB00941A which classifies as an OEM level cooler because
of its simple extrusion build.
While the heatsink itself is nothing really that special the clips which
hold it in place are kind of neat. Moving along the lines
of the older socket 423 heatsinks, the CB00941A has a small tab on
either side which supports two spring tensioned clips. Unlike the older socket 423 heatsinks however, this
little guy uses the newer socket 478 HSRM and is officially rated at
0.417 C/W by the company.
The heatsink is rated for 1.7GHz to 2.4GHz Pentium
4 processors, but that seems a little high to be honest.
