"Noctua's low profile NH-L9x65 heatsink stands just 64mm tall and has a very compact footprint of only 95x95mm. The NH-L9x65 is designed to cool some fairly intensive Intel sockets, along with the full spectrum of AMD processors and APUs. Compact CPU coolers can be a little tricky to install, but Noctua long ago laid down the framework of an excellent motherboard mounting system,, so the NH-L9x65 is a breeze to work with. "

Silverstone Argon AR01 Heatsink Review
Sep 26, 2013 - Frosty No.2723
Category: Cooling / Heatsinks

Silverstone's Argon AR08 is constructed around three beefy 8mm diameter copper heatpipes which are exposed at the base of the cooler. Putting the heatpipes in direct contact with the top of the processor makes for a very thermally efficient path with a minimum of thermal joint resistance.

DeepCool Gammaxx S40 Heatsink Review
Jul 18, 2013 - Frosty No.2721
Category: Cooling / Heatsinks

It's nice to once again encounter a heatsink that stands less than 150mm tall and doesn't feature some kind of complicated self contained water cooling heat exchanger... these days it's getting more difficult to find CPU coolers for compact computer systems.
